The Fortran calls to p4 procedures are analogous to their C counterparts, but have Fortran-like names.
The data_type parameter in the above operations shoudl be one of P4INT, P4LNG, P4FLT, or P4DBL. These symbolic constants are defined in the include file p4f.h.
